Laleh leads on school improvement, ensuring it is effective, high quality, and sustainable. She works in partnership with our headteachers and senior leadership teams to help them to achieve our ambitious aims.

Laleh has worked in inner city schools for over 25 years with experience of working in a range of roles, many of them in the field of literacy, inclusion and curriculum development. Her most recent experience has been as a Leadership and Management Adviser at Hackney Education. Prior to joining Hackney Education, she served as an Executive Headteacher of a group of schools in which professional supervision was introduced and practised along with many other initiatives.

Laleh has also been an NLE and, as part of her work, has supported ‘Women in Education’ and ‘BAME leadership’ programmes. She has also served as a school governor and has published articles in the Chartered College of Teaching’s journal and in journals on Early Years Education.

Laleh has supported schools and school leaders through management and systems change. She believes schools are at their best when their culture is one of high ambition for their communities.
