Online Safety for Parents

The Internet is a wonderful tool which offers opportunities to learn, research, play, have fun and connect with others.  However, whilst there are huge benefits to being online, we know that many parents feel concerned about the activities and content their children are accessing.

Twice each term, we email parents an overview of key topical issues relating to online safety, with lots of useful links to relevant articles.  The briefing we send also includes a list of courses for parents provided by Surrey County Council that all parents can attend free of charge.

Please click on the down arrow below right to view these briefings.

In addition, our termly newsletters for parents - Trust Talk - include a feature on Online Safety to support our parents to navigate this difficult area.  It is an area in which information and advice changes due to the nature of technology, which is constantly changing.  Please click on the down arrow below right to view the articles we have published.
